The following is our measurement and control operation process

Planning the automation hardware
Our measurement and control specialists are responsible for all components necessary for the automation of the system:

  • sensors for measuring physical characteristics such as air flow, pressure, speed, humidity, temperature, filter resistance, or the fill level of a container
  • actuators that control physical variables (e.g., motors or fans)
  • switch and control systems (with CAD system EPLAN)

Programming the software
Coordinating with our process engineers, our software developers write the programs controlling the components. The control systems interpret the physical readings, process them and trigger the actuators to initiate an appropriate system response to the recorded measurements. Our software displays the unit data in a clear and concise manner, which it continuously records and stores. This ensures availability for the operator at a later time. Suitable software interfaces ensure that all data relevant to plant monitoring is forwarded to the customer's advanced process control system. Consequently, the plant operator always has an overview of the current plant status and can take remediary action if necessary. Our dust extraction units can be easily integrated with a digitized production process (Industry 4.0).

Ensuring safety and reliability
We ensure that all safety functions of the extraction system meet the required performance level. The performance level is the official basis that determines the reliability of a technical safety function. We carefully check the quality of our software (validation). All control mechanisms are tested in-house in advance. This guarantees a smooth start-up.

Support during system operation
We plan and supervise the electrical installation on site and also support our customers afterwards with any queries they may have regarding system controls. If necessary, our measurement and control technology experts can access customer systems remotely through our network. This remote access allows them to log on and

  • analyze the functioning of the system
  • install necessary updates
  • perform optimizations by -
  • meeting (new) customer requirements
  • diagnosing and eliminating potential errors
  • boosting the operation of the system

To summarize, our measurement and control technology isapplicable in all phases of a project – from the initial customer consultation, to project implementation and commissioning, to the end of the system's useful life. Our measurement and control technology staff support our customers throughout the life of the system – remaining as your partners.

Our customers benefit from the following

  • All systems and controls are supplied by a single company.
  • One contact person for all matters pertaining to the control system.
  • Assurance that we will respond quickly to any incidents that may occur.
  • No matter what software-related questions arise, the responding specialist will always be the one who is knowledgeable regarding all the aspects of the individual system.
