Extraction of dusts from the treatment

Dusts created during treatment processes (mixing, weighing, adding) will vary with regard to their content and particle size (from nano particles to granulate).

The volume of dust created during the handling of bulk material is usually not consistent - air displacement with raised dust occurs in varying degrees. This characteristic is of vital importance when selecting the proper extraction design.
Hazardous fumes may also be produced during mixing processes, such as when adding solvents.

Depending on the material, explosion protection measures may be required.

Dry filtration and separation of dusts

Dry separators are primarily used for the extraction of dry dust. Wet separators are utilized only if necessary. A  full range of Keller dry separators affords a greater degree of flexibility.

Choosing the appropriate separator series depends on various factors such as dust characteristics, air flow, installation location and special customer requests.

The KLR filter elements reliably separate the extracted dust particles from the contaminated air. Thanks to effective filter performance, the clean air can, under approved conditions, be recirculated back into the production area in an energy-efficient manner.
